InceptionLRT, a decentralized liquid restaking protocol, is winding down operations just six months after securing $3.5 million in seed funding. The team announced the decision on X, citing a failure to achieve product-market fit despite extensive infrastructure development.

The protocol launched over 15 liquid restaking tokens and integrated with 60+ DeFi platforms, passing eight security audits. Notable backers included BlackDragon, Chorus Ventures, and prominent angel investors. All user funds remain secure, with withdrawals available through September 1.
